Adoption fees are $30
If required, rabies vaccination will be due within 72 hours and spay/neuter within 30 days. RESCUES
For rescues wanting to work with the Wise County Animal Shelter, they will be required to provide the following information prior to transferring any animal
(s) from the shelter.
• 501c3 Form (Application for Recognition of Exemption)
• Driver’s License - A copy of the Driver’s License of the Registered Agent representing the rescue organization is required for our records
• Letter of Consent stating (1) who is responsible for the animal (2) who is authorized to pick-up and transport (if necessary), and (3) the identification number of the animal in question.
