These flights help our new crew members learn the aviation and logistics of loading and unloading a patient with equipment, starting the aircraft while a patient is on board, hot fueling with a patient, communication on the ICS system and with the patient, and SO much more. We loved having all of our friends together in one place ❤️ Thank you to everyone who jumped in to help where ever y'all could and thank you for your patience when we had to replenish the food, multiple times 😳 We are grateful that the weather held off enough to let us celebrate and spend time together today. This EMS Week, we’re celebrating the power of teamwork with this year’s theme: “Improving Outcomes, Together.”

Every day, our crew of pilots, nurses, and paramedics works side-by-side with our incredible partners in telecommunications, law enforcement, fire departments, EMS agencies, and community responders to provide the highest level of care for the patients and communities we serve. From the first 911 call to definitive care, it takes all of us working together to make a difference.

To celebrate EMS Week and the partnerships that keep our communities strong, we’re hosting our Flight Crew Baseball Bash on Thursday, May 21st from 11 AM – 1 PM at our base! Join us for lunch, games, and a little friendly competition as we recognize the hard work and dedication of all first responders and healthcare professionals.

Did you know that Nurses week is always May 6th- May 12th, regardless of what day of the week it falls on? That's because May 12th is Florence Nightingales's Birthday 🎂 🥳

The faces might look a little younger in the graduation photos, but the heart for service has only grown. ❤️

Shoutout to our 6 AE68 nurses for their expertise in the air, and a huge thank you to the fantastic nurses at our local hospitals who provide seamless care on the ground. We make a great team. Happy Nurses Week! 🚑🏥🚁
