Mrs. Darby’s class read Max’s words where he arranged words into groups and made sentences out of them. We were “Max” today making our own words and sentences. 🧡💙

How can Little Red Riding Hood avoid the forest? By catapulting those goodies right over the wolf’s head, of course! Second graders in Mrs. Leah’s class are learning to embrace a growth mindset, solve problems, and readjust their designs when things don’t go exactly as planned. Future engineers at work! 💙🧡

This week in Mrs. AliGrace’s second grade classroom, students had a great time bringing Little Red Riding Hood to life! After reading different versions of the story and participating in a Reader’s Theater, they wrapped up the week with a STEM challenge!

Students designed and built catapults to help Little Red get her cookies to Grandma’s house WITHOUT having to travel through the forest! 🌲🍪🏠

The catapults were put to the test on Friday, and the excitement was BIG! There were flying “cookies,” lots of smiles, and some pretty impressive creations. What a fun ending to a week with Little Red! 🐺❤️

Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Nat’s PreK class had a fun filled Friday! They had a “Glow Party” to celebrate all of their hard work for the first month of school. They got to sing and dance, and they also wrote letters and numbers they have been learning on their hands with special “Glow Gel” and got to see them glow with a special flashlight. They enjoyed donuts and snow cones to finish up the best day! 💙🧡
