🙌🏽GOD IS GOOD—and so is our community! 🙌🏽

We want to extend a massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) for their incredibly generous Hunger Grant! 💛

Because of these funds, we were able to stock our food pantry with extra meat and shelf-stable essentials, allowing us to nearly double the number of families we normally serve! 🛒✨

But the blessings didn't stop there. We were also able to invest the remaining funds into our "Camp in the City" summer camp, which wrapped up on June 12th. Every single camper went home with a large, reusable shopping bag packed to the brim with snacks, beverages, and convenient, ready-to-eat or microwavable meals. 🎒🥤🍲

Thank you, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America , for partnering with us to fight hunger and bring so much joy to our community’s kids and families. We are profoundly grateful! 🙌🏽✨

Dekalb Announces Sites to Participate in the 2026 Summer Food Service Program. DeKalb County Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs will host the Summer Food Service Program from June 8 to July 17. This ongoing effort ensures that students have nutritious meals during the summer.
