The Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center is pleased to welcome Ronnie Williams as our new MCLETC Class Coordinator!

Ronnie recently retired as Deputy Chief from the Springfield Police Department after 26 years of dedicated law enforcement service. Throughout his career, he served in numerous roles, including Field Training Officer, Neighborhood Police Officer, Emergency Response Team member, U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force member, and leadership within the Springfield Police Academy.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Ronnie proudly served eight years in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant.

Ronnie brings a wealth of experience in law enforcement, leadership, and training to MCLETC. We are excited to have him join the MCLETC/Richland Community College team and look forward to the knowledge and experience he will bring to our recruits, instructors, and staff.

🎓 Please join us in congratulating Basic Law Enforcement Class RC26-29 on their graduation from the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center!

After 16 weeks of hard work, dedication, and training, these graduates are ready to take the next step in their law enforcement careers and commitment to public service. We are proud of all they have accomplished and wish them success and safety as they return to their agencies and begin this new chapter.

Class RC26-29 spent time learning and practicing fingerprinting techniques as part of their academy training at MCLETC.

Recruits received hands-on instruction in properly collecting and documenting fingerprints while learning the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.

Class RC26-29 spent time working on takedown and arrest techniques through hands-on training at MCLETC.

Recruits practiced safe control techniques, proper arrest procedures, and officer safety while developing the skills, techniques, and awareness needed to effectively handle real-world situations.

Class RC26-29 took part in OC Spray training, gaining hands-on experience with another important law enforcement tool.

Recruits learned proper use, safety procedures, and how to respond and continue performing their duties after exposure.

Another challenging day of training and another skill added to their toolbox!

Class RC26-29 participated in active shooter response training, putting their skills to the test through realistic, hands-on scenarios.

This training gives recruits the opportunity to practice teamwork, communication, quick decision-making, and response procedures in a controlled environment.

Hands-on training like this is an important part of preparing recruits for the challenges they may face in the field.

Class RC26-29 had the opportunity to give back by participating in a blood donation drive at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center.

Law enforcement is about more than enforcing the law; it's about serving the community. By donating blood, these recruits demonstrated their commitment to helping others both inside and outside of the uniform.

We are proud of Class RC26-29 for stepping up to make a difference. Every donation has the potential to save lives, and their willingness to serve is a reflection of the values we strive to instill at MCLETC.

Class RC26-29 spent time in the mat room training in Defensive Tactics and Integrated Force Options (IFO).

Recruits practiced control techniques, officer safety, and proper response tactics through hands-on instruction with our experienced instructors. This training helps build confidence, teamwork, and the skills needed to handle situations safely and professionally.
