Welding Adjunct Faculty

Adjunct Instructors needed with expertise in a variety of welding skills. Working schedule is flexible and on an as-needed basis. The individual does not need to be knowledgeable about all topics, but knowledgeable in at least one of the areas listed below:

*SMAW
*GMAW
*FCAW
*MIG
*Pipefitting
*Plan, prepare, implement, teach, and evaluate classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. Participate in program development and evaluation. Participate in program-related activities as needed.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience in the field of expertise.

Salary
$825-$950 per equated hour, commensurate with experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High school graduation or equivalent, supplemented by courses in office technology; minimum two (2) years’ experience in meeting with the public and performing secretarial and clerical work.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong written and verbal communication skills and word processing and spreadsheet skills; good telephone skills; experience and ability to work with the public in stressful situations; ability to prioritize job responsibilities; knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; ability to make decisions in accordance with college policy, rules, regulations, and departmental policies; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and with the public. Ability to learn and efficiently use various computer programs and software.

FULL-TIME FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Looking for a role where you can make a difference while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule? The Full-Time Food Service Worker supports daily food service operations at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center (MCLETC) and plays an important role in keeping the kitchen and dining areas running smoothly for those training at the center.

In this position, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient dining environment by stocking supplies, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and cafeteria, washing dishes, assisting with meal service, and ensuring all areas meet safety and sanitation standards.

This role involves minimal food preparation and no cashiering, allowing you to focus on supporting operations behind the scenes.

Minimum 40 hours per week. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm.

Richland Community College is seeking candidates for an Instructional Design Coordinator. The Instructional Design Coordinator will be able to evaluate, develop, and promote instructional design in support of the teaching and learning needs of the College. Works directly with Teaching & Learning Center staff to ensure accessibility and universal design best practices are met and that faculty are provided high quality support and assistance. Responsible for providing faculty support regarding instructional design, supportive technologies, and LMS usage. Facilitates new instructor training, professional development sessions, and provides troubleshooting of technical problems related to the delivery of course content.

Required Qualifications: A Master’s degree in a related field of study is required, along with a minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience in higher education. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in learning technologies and instructional design across multiple modalities. Experience in new instructor training, faculty development, and the promotion of effective teaching and learning practices are essential. 2-5 years of experience with academic learning management systems (preferably Canvas) is required.
