It’s that time of year again… as the temperatures rise, we have children in poorly ventilated rooms/homes with asthma and other health concerns. We currently have a couple of families that have special needs children in homes or mobile homes that are becoming very hot. If you have an air conditioner that you are willing to donate, or if you would like to make a donation to purchase an air conditioner, please contact Holly Newbon @ [email protected] .

We’re thrilled to welcome the “Nature in Your Neighborhood” program with the Macon County Conservation District! Starting this June, Kids will explore the natural beauty right in their local park.

To the mothers, bonus moms, grandmothers, foster moms, stepmoms, pet moms, aunties, caregivers, women praying to become mothers, women who have lost children, those missing their mothers, and those who may find this day difficult for deeply personal reasons… this post is for you too.

No matter your story or season of life, may you feel seen, appreciated, loved, and valued today. Your strength, compassion, and care make a difference in ways you may never fully realize.
