❤️ Morgan County, it’s time to come together and United Way needs YOU!❤️

On Tuesday, September 8th, we need 180 volunteers to make a difference at 33 community projects! It's time to come together, to roll up our sleeves, lend a helping hand, and make a HUGE impact right here at home. 🙌

Our Day of Action (formerly Day of Caring) projects will support incredible organizations across Morgan County, including:

✨ Centers for the Developmentally Disabled (CDD)
✨ Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama
✨ Habitat for Humanity ReStore

✨ Terrell Industries

We have officially raised $302 for the Imagination Library! 💕 I just finished three more batches of Dolly cookies, and if we sell all of them today, we’ll be able to donate a total of $400!

Come grab some Dolly cookies and help us support the Imagination Library through our local United Way of Morgan County. It’s such a wonderful cause, and we’re so thankful for everyone who has helped us get this far! 🦋💕

🍪 Sweet treats. Sweet hearts. Big impact. 📚❤️
A huge thank you to Mel's Sweet Treats for spreading a little extra sweetness throughout our community! Their delicious cookies were sold to benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, with a portion of the proceeds donated through United Way of Morgan County.
Our staff had the chance to enjoy some of these goodies together today—and let’s just say, supporting local literacy has never tasted so good! 😊
We’re grateful for local businesses like Mel’s Sweet Treats that find creative ways to give back and help put books into the hands of local children. Every cookie purchased helps make a difference in a child’s life and can inspire a lifelong love of reading. 📖✨

Before we head out into Morgan County for United Way’s Day of Action, let’s kick things off together! Join us for our Campaign Kickoff Breakfast at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8th, at GE Appliances in Decatur.

This is more than just breakfast—it’s the official start to a day of giving back, serving others, and making a difference right here at home. For those in attendance, we have a *BIG ANNOUNCEMENT* and there will be door prizes up for grabs!
