Good Wednesday Post Electon Day Morning Friends. We did it. All of us. I want to thank the 26,372 souls that put their confidence in me at the polls. I truly appreciate the support. I want to thank my team and family as we all worked together to make this happen. I want to thank all those that contributed to my campaign as well as the Macon County Republican Committee. All of you had a great part in my victory, including the signature collectors and notaries. Thank you to the organizations that allowed me to speak at their venues. These include the Macon County Republican Women, NAACP, Restore Our Constitution, Decatur Chamber of Commerce, and Guns Save Life. I want to thank all of my parade walkers that came out and supported our campaign in several communities. We made new friends at these events. I want to thank all of the folks who allowed us to place our signs in their yards and properties. I would like to commend my opponent, Tiffany Hall for running a clean campaign, as we all know how dirty political races can become. I will represent all the citizens and communities of Macon County truthfully and fairly. A very special thank you to my wife, Kat. We have been through the best of times and the worst of times together. She is my everything. I would also like to thank Coroner Mike Day who spent hours on the phone with Kat helping her understand the process and expectations when our son Tyler passed. He is a great example of what a Coroner can be, and I am honored to serve in the Office that he held for eight terms. THANK YOU, FRIENDS.
