Kids may seem ready to move to the next car seat or booster seat, but moving up too soon can put them at greater risk in a crash.

👶 Keep your child in their current car seat until they reach the height or weight limit set by the manufacturer.

✅ Rear-facing → Forward-facing → Booster seat → Seat belt

Remember, the safest next step is the one your child is ready for! 💙

◾Never put loose sharps into the garbage.
◾Never flush sharps down the toilet.
◾Never place loose sharps in recycling bins/totes. They are not recyclable.
◾Never allow sharps within reach or children or pets.
ALWAYS
◾Always put used sharps promptly into a sharps disposal container.
◾Always securely close the sharps disposal container once it's three-quarters (3/4) full.
◾Always deposit the 3/4-full sharps disposal container into the disposal drop box at the MCHD.

🔦 Giving them a flashlight or glow stick to carry
✨ Adding reflective tape to their costumes
