Orange is a color.🧡
Unity is a choice. ✅
Listen to these students share why STM wearing orange today matters.

Our 1st graders are bringing Spanish to life in STM’s new Commons area, sounding out words, exploring illustrations, and learning from one another along the way.
💙 It’s a beautiful snapshot of learning at STM: curiosity in action, growing confidence, and the joy of discovering something new together. 🐯📚

The moment vs. the shot.

We love a good photo. But we might love the moments behind it even more.

There’s a lot happening in a little game of subtraction. 😊
Our third graders are building fluency with subtraction facts, practicing quick recall, and strengthening the skills they’ll use as math grows more complex. And when practice feels like a game, there’s a little more excitement to keep going, try again, and celebrate when it clicks.
A little “Bingo!” can mean a lot. 💙💛

It was our pleasure to welcome some very special members of our Decatur community to STM. We’re teaching our students to be intentional about noticing the people around them, take the time to say thank you, and serve others. Sometimes that looks like writing cards and sharing breakfast, and sometimes, it looks like a little volleyball game. 🏐😊We’re so grateful for our City of Decatur First Responders and for the opportunity to simply spend some time saying thank you. 🙏
