By now, some of you will have received your Notice of Appraised Value statements. If you haven't yet, you should be shortly. In the event that you do not receive a statement, feel free to call us. When there is no change in value, or the change is below a certain threshold, we are not required to send notice. However, if you don't receive a notice, it never hurts to double check to make sure we have your correct mailing address or some other similar issue.
You'll notice that there is no tax estimate on your notices. You can go to:
https://wise.countytaxrates.com/tax and search by your name or property id. Although the 2023 values may not be up, you can use the tax rates given there to figure out an estimate.
In addition, you can go to https://wise-cad.com/ and within the next few days those numbers should be available.
Should you decide to file a protest, you can do so online, by filing out the form on the back of the Notice, or coming in to the office.
Thank you for your patience during this time. We know that receiving notices can be stressful. We are here to help as much as we can.
