It’s Homecoming Week at Crestwood High School!

Join us this Friday, September 18th, for the Crestwood High School Homecoming Parade!

The parade will step off from Riverside Middle School at 5:30 PM and travel down Beech Daly to Crestwood High School.

Come out and show your Charger pride as you cheer on the CHS Marching Band, class floats, Homecoming Court members, student groups, and more!

A New Opportunity for Crestwood High School Students!

September 8, 2026, marked an exciting first for Crestwood High School as students began the new Cosmetology Partnership with Nbraas Professional Beauty Institute!

Through this partnership, CHS students have the opportunity to participate in the Cosmetology Program at Nbraas, gaining hands-on experience and working toward a Professional Cosmetology Certification upon completion of the program.

We are excited to offer our students another pathway to explore their interests, develop career-ready skills, and prepare for opportunities beyond high school.

Welcome Back, Crestwood Alumni!

This weekend, the Crestwood High School Class of 1976 celebrated its 50th Class Reunion, and we were excited to welcome members of the class, along with other CHS alumni, back to Crestwood!

Our alumni had the opportunity to tour CHS, revisit familiar spaces, and see the many improvements that have taken place over the years. A special thank you to our National Honor Society students, who were on hand to welcome our alumni and lead them on tours of the school.

It was wonderful to have our former Chargers back in the halls, reconnecting with one another and the school that holds so many memories.

We hope the Class of 1976 had a wonderful 50th reunion weekend filled with memories, friendships, and plenty of Charger pride!

Nominate an Outstanding Crestwood Educator for Michigan Teacher of the Year!

Do you know a Crestwood teacher who goes above and beyond for students? The 2027–2028 Michigan Teacher of the Year nomination window is now open!

The Michigan Department of Education is seeking nominations for outstanding educators who make a difference in the lives of their students and school communities. Parents, students, colleagues, and community members can nominate a deserving teacher. Nominees must be PreK–12 educators who work directly with students and have at least five years of teaching experience in Michigan.

Nominating a teacher is easy! You will need the teacher’s name and email address, school and district, grade level, your contact information, and a short paragraph explaining why the teacher deserves to be recognized.

Nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

A Message from the Kinloch PTA

For 22 years, Mrs. Melanie Garden dedicated herself to the students, staff, and families of Kinloch Elementary. Her kindness, compassion, and commitment touched countless lives and will remain a lasting part of the Kinloch community.

In her honor, the Kinloch PTA has established the Melanie Garden Memorial Fund to create a lasting tribute that will inspire future generations.

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and can be made through Zelle, cash, or check. Cash and checks may be dropped off at the Kinloch Elementary School office, with checks made payable to Kinloch PTA. For Zelle donations, please scan the QR code on the flyer through your banking app and include MEMORIAL in the payment memo.
