The Deadwood Alive troupe is here to entertain. From Main Street Deadwood shootouts to a guided walking tour, there's something for visitors of all ages to enjoy, year-round. During the summer (Mid-May - late September) there are three Shootouts on Historic Deadwood Main Street. They take place every day except Sunday. The shooting of Wild Bill is held inside Saloon No.10 at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. The Gunslingers host the street shootouts, they are at 2:00 pm in front of the Wild Bill Bar, 4:00 pm in front of the Bodega, and 6:00 pm in front of the Historic Franklin Hotel. The shootouts and street shows are FREE to watch. The Trial of Jack McCall for the shooting of Wild Bill Hickok. The Capture of Jack McCall is at 7:35 pm in front of the Saloon No.10 on Deadwood Main Street. The Trial of Jack McCall starts at 8:00 pm. Families Welcome! The show is dark on Sunday. There is a nominal fee for the show. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the button at the top of this page or by calling 1-800-344-8826. There will be no shows on Sundays or during the following events: (Wild Bill Days, Sturgis Rally, and Kool Deadwood Nites). Thank you for an incredible summer season!
Today is the last day for our summer schedule. Deadwood Alive would like to thank all our fans for attending our street shows, shootouts, wagon rides, Lawman's Patrol and the Trial of Jack McCall.

Due to the Deadwood Jam, today's shootouts will take place where ever there is space for these shows. Keep your eye out for the Deadwood Alive gunslingers, they'll point you in the right direction.

Join in on a rowdy and raucous game of “Go Fish” with the Deadwood Alive gunslingers. No gamblin' allowed for the kids but braggin' rights last longer anyhow.
This free, family-friendly show takes place at 2:30 p.m. in the Outlaw Square Gazebo during the summer schedule. Please note the last day for the summer schedule is Saturday, September 19.

There will be a few changes to the Deadwood Alive schedule due to this event.

For today, September 17 and tomorrow September 18, the 2:00 p.m. shootout will take place in front of the Midnight Star.

There will be no morning or evening stagecoach rides on either Friday the 18th or Saturday the 19th.

On Saturday, September 19 the 2:00 p.m. gunfight will be held in front of the Midnight Star if there's space to do the shootout. If not you can find the gang further down the street in front of Berg's Jewelry for this show.

It's the last week for Deadwood Alive's summer schedule!
Be sure to experience the Trial of Jack McCall, shootouts at 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. as well as the wide variety of entertaining street shows happening throughout the week. The last day for the full summer schedule is September 19.

The gunslingers will still be around this autumn though! The fall schedule will start on Saturday, September 25. For more details about Deadwood Alive and our fall schedule check out DeadwoodAlive.com.

Take a time out for some Tomfoolery with Deadwood Alive!
Watch out for the gunslingers while waiting for the shootout and the Trial of Jack McCall. They may just try to steal your ice cream. Tomfoolery has been known to happen as these characters can be hard to contain sometimes.

The Trial of Jack McCall is based on the impromptu trial which actually took place the very next day in the mining camp of Deadwood after “Crooked Nose” Jack McCall murdered James Butler “Wild Bill” Hickok. Wild Bill was playing poker in Nuttal and Mann’s Saloon No. 10 on August 2, 1876, and was shot in the back of the head while holding Aces and Eights, forever known as the “Dead Man’s Hand.”

The Trial of Jack McCall can be seen at 8:00PM following the 7:35PM capture of Jack McCall on Historic Main Street. The Trial operates Monday through Saturday during Peak Season. Located at the Eagle Bar, 610 Main Street.

Online ticket purchases must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Tickets are also available at the door before the show or on Historic Main Street from the Information Chuckwagon. Visit DeadwoodAlive.com for more details.
