The DeMotte Water Department would like to notify the community that fire hydrants will be flushed during the week of April 13, 2026

Spring leaf pick up will be ending soon and branch pick up will start the first Monday in May and continue every first Monday of each month.

Spencer Park playground will be closed today April 7, 2026 as we have work being done at the park. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Good Morning DeMotte!! Despite the rain we will still be holding our Easter Egg Hunt this morning. We will start at 10 on the dot at Spencer Park!

The Park Board is excited to announce our annual Easter Egg Hunt this year! We will be hosting this event on April 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Spencer Park.

We will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. with our first age group of 1-3. Following will be our second age group 4-6. Our next age group of 7-10 and we will follow them with our last age group 11-13.

The cost is $1.00 or 3 canned goods per child. All proceeds from this event will go to our local food pantry, Good Neighbor Food Pantry. We are all so excited and cannot wait to see all the bright and smiling faces!

Join us for some fun before the kids are back in school and schedules get full. This Wednesday, August 6th, is our last Movie in the Park summer series. Join us as Belstra's and DeMotte State Bank bring us the movie Inside Out 2! They will have free popcorn and water for all. Plus the bubble party will be back!!
