Supervisors of Elections and staff attended a small county workshop last week in Glades County, Florida to collaborate and share ideas and best practices in preparation for the 2026 election cycle. Thank you to the Glades County Supervisor of Elections Office for hosting such a valuable workshop.

Voters in the city of Paxton will have a special election on December 2, 2025.

The next regular primary and general elections will be held in August and November of 2026. Stay tuned!

Sharing the notice for the potential December 2nd City of Paxton Special Election to fill a City Council Seat. Candidate qualifying and voting information can be found below and at the link on the City of Paxton website.

Please Note: The City of Paxton conducts their elections and candidate qualifying, administered by the city clerk and certified by the members of the city canvassing board. The role of the Walton County Supervisor of Elections Office is to provide services to the city to assist if requested, including providing ballots and the list of eligible voters.

Residents of the City of Paxton. We will hold a special election on December 2,2025 to fill a vacant seat on Council. Qualifying/Per-filing packets can be picked up beginning October 14th at City Hall. Please see the attached letter for details.
