Yesterday, US National Weather Service Tallahassee Florida confirmed Monday's storm in Villa Tasso was an EF 1 Tornado, with winds of 105 mph. Debris cleanup is underway for this community, and we need your help to keep the process moving safely and efficiently.

If your property sustained damage and you are placing debris at the roadside for collection, please remember to separate debris by type:

πŸͺ΅ Vegetative Debris (trees, limbs, brush)
🏚️ Construction & Demolition Debris (fencing, drywall, roofing, lumber, etc.)

Please also ensure debris is:
⚠️ Placed away from power lines, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and roadways
🚫 Not blocked by vehicles or other obstacles
🚫 Combined debris will NOT be picked up

Proper debris separation helps speed up collection efforts, reduces safety hazards for crews, and supports potential reimbursement processes following the storm.

If your home or property received damage, please complete the damage reporting form so our team can continue connecting residents with available recovery resources. https://bit.ly/WCDamage

Our thoughts remain with the residents impacted by this storm, and WCEM continues working alongside our local, state, and volunteer partners to support the community through recovery. πŸ’™
