I just want to say thanks to all the veterans in Kingsbury. I had an amazing time serving all of you. I enjoyed my time helping and meeting all of you. This will be my last morning in the office.

The Community Action for Veterans hosted the Women VetsConnect Retreat where women veterans and military spouses got to network with each other, listen to speakers and learn more about resources available to them.

🇺🇸 Scholarship Spotlight: Meet Kaylee 🇺🇸

Because of the support of generous donors and our incredible community, students like Kaylee are able to pursue their dreams through the Folds of Honor scholarship program.

Kaylee Brown is a student at South Dakota State University studying business economics and has secured an internship with the Department of Defense. Thanks to Folds of Honor, she can focus on her education and future career without the full financial burden of college.

Kaylee is the daughter of United States Air Force Master Sergeant Lucas Brown, who served our country for over 20 years as a Traffic Management Craftsman. During his career, he earned several honors including the Meritorious Service Medal and multiple Air Force Commendation and Achievement Medals for his dedication and service.

Because of families like Kaylee’s, we are able to live in freedom. Through Folds of Honor, we are proud to honor that sacrifice by supporting the next generation.
