🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Thank You for a Great Bike Safety Night! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️

The Kingsbury County Sheriff's Office would like to extend a sincere thank you to the De Smet Good Samaritan Center for hosting the Bike Safety and Bike Laws event. We greatly appreciate your partnership and commitment to providing opportunities that benefit the youth of our community.

We would also like to thank all of the kids who came out, brought their bikes, participated in the safety courses, and took the time to learn about bicycle safety. Your enthusiasm, positive attitudes, and willingness to learn made the event a tremendous success!

Events like these are about much more than bike safety. They provide an opportunity for law enforcement officers and young people to interact in a positive environment, build relationships, and strengthen trust within our communities. When children know their local deputies, feel comfortable talking with them, and see them as helpers and mentors, it helps create a safer and stronger community for everyone.

Thank you again to the De Smet Good Samaritan Center, the families who attended, and all of the kids who participated. We had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone again at future community events!

Bike Safety & Bike Laws Event for Kids!

The Kingsbury County Sheriff's Office and the Good Samaritan Center are excited to invite families to our Bike Safety & Bike Laws Event!

This is a great opportunity for children to learn important bike safety skills while having fun on their bicycles. Kids will have the chance to ride through hands-on bike courses designed to demonstrate safe riding practices, traffic awareness, and common situations they may encounter while riding. The courses will include examples of what to do—and what not to do—when riding a bicycle, helping young riders build confidence and make safe choices.

Our goal is to provide a fun, interactive experience that teaches children the importance of bicycle safety, following traffic laws, and making smart decisions while riding.

Be sure to bring your bike, helmet, and a positive attitude as we work together to make our community's young cyclists safer and more knowledgeable riders!

We look forward to seeing everyone there for an evening of learning, fun, and safe riding!
