Dear Charles Wade Supporters and Family,

This is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. FYI, the dream is still alive, for the Charles Wade Center for Homelessness and Hunger Prevention. I suffered a temporary setback that has empowered me to make necessary changes in my life. Now I can begin taking real action to get the Center out of conception and into fruition. Until we can do our part to battle homelessness and hunger on a greater level, let us all remember those who are facing a cold, hard winter, in prayer...and by making a donation of nonperishable food and supplies for the hungry and homeless to our favorite local charities. Peace be with you and yours today, and throughout the holiday season as it approaches.

Best Regards,
Leah Osburn

Welcome to the official page of the Charles Wade Center for Homelessness and Hunger Prevention of the Sevier County, Arkansas area. We are still in our infancy,as an organization, but will be seeking the hand of God in obtaining a 501c3 charitable organization status, in the very near future. We hope to address an ongoing problem of homelessness among Sevier County, Arkansas area residents facing various lengths and causes of the challenge. We also wish to provide all community members with a meal or more each day, served by volunteers who may sign up to offer time and talents, as our ability to grow and flourish allows us. Please join us, as we grow in our Facebook community, as well as our hometown spirit. Patience is appreciated, as there are sure to be changes and challenges throughout the coming months. May the comfort of knowing there's help on the way, be with those who are hurting...and brighten their day. Amen
