Sevier County Sheriff Office is taking applications for a Part time Detention Officer and Dispatcher. We also have a full time opening for Deputy Sheriff. Applicant must be 18 years of age for Dispatcher and Detention Officer. Applicant must be 21 years of age for Deputy Sheriff. must have a valid driver’s license and no criminal convictions. Must be able to pass physical, psychological, and drug test. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applications may be picked up at the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office. Stephanie was last seen at De Queen Middle School in her last class of the day and did not return home from school.

Stephanie was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray-blue pajama pants. She wears glasses, long brown hair, blue eyes, wears glasses and has braces.

Today I had the honor of adding Ana Mejia to the plaque that hangs in the hallway at the office. 7 years ago today Ana came to work at the Sevier County Arkansas Sheriff's Department. Ana was quiet and learned her duties real fast. She has completed the 120 hrs of training and holds a certificate as a Specialized Officer. She also oversees all of the computer, billing and anything else she is asked to do. She is considered the glue that keeps all of the Sheriffs Dept together. Congratulations Ana on a Job well done.
