Sevier County Clerk's Office The Sevier County Clerk's office is the official bookkeeper for Sevier County. The Clerk's office handles county elections with the county election commission.

Handling marriage license, DBA's, minister credentials, probate, and all county bills. The County Clerk is the official bookkeeper of county government and serves as the clerk for the county court, quorum court, and probate court. The Clerk serves as the secretary of the Board of Equalization and Intergovernmental Council Board. The County Clerk is also responsible for the administrative details o

f each election for the County Board of Election Commission. The Clerk issues marriage licenses and keeps a record of all minister’s credentials.

NEW BUSINESS

1. A proposed resolution to approve the ambulance service charges for Southwest EMS for fiscal year 2026-2027.

2. Confirmation of the re-appointment of Duane Alspaw to the Sevier County Equalization Board to represent the cities and towns.
a. Confirmation of the re-appointment of Fernandos Balderas to the Sevier County Equalization Board to represent the schools.

3. To purchase CorEMR for $12,000.00 1st year. CorEMR is digital medical records used by Turnkey Health. We currently use Microsoft Word in-house. When staff call on call after house the provider has nothing to use to decide care of inmates. CorEMR would give on-call all notes & facts for the inmate in question.

4. Confirmation of the re-appointment of Renee Logan to the Sevier County Hospital Board of Governors.

A candidate for school district, township, municipal, or county office who is participating in the November 3, 2026, General Election and who, as of May 31, 2026, has received or spent more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) during the course of his or her campaign, is required to file a monthly C&E Report for the month of May by no later than Monday, June 22, 2026.

In accordance with Ark. Code Ann. §§ 7-6-208(c)(2)(C)(i) and 7-6-209(c)(2)(C)(i), C&E Reports of a candidate for school district, township, municipal, or county office shall be filed in electronic form through the official website of the Secretary of State. To obtain information concerning electronic filing, please refer to the Secretary of State’s website: https://ethics-disclosures.sos.arkansas.gov/login. For information concerning an alternative to electronic filing of C&E Reports under Ark. Code Ann. § 7-6-230, please contact the Office of the Secretary of State for filing instructions.

Candidates who fail to timely file C&E Reports face possible sanctions (fines, public letters, etc.) under Ark. Code Ann. § 7-6-218(b)(4).
