There is a new sheriff in town and his name is Gunsmoke.

Breeding season has begun and he is very popular with the does. He comes from Sandbur City Farm in Moscow, IA and is a well mannered buck with incredible pedigree.

The ladies are back from the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. They had a great time but are glad to be on fresh pasture. They have time to settle in before Gunsmoke shows up during breeding season.

The goats love the fresh forage at the GBBG. The NoFence collars make our lives so much easier. If you’re interested in clearing some land this is the way to start.

Goats are helping clear invasive plants at the Green Bay Botanical Gardens that the staff usually wouldn’t have time for.

New grazing project at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. Jewelweed, phragmites, box elder and buckthorn are on the menu for the next few days

The NoFence collars work amazing and allow us to put the goats where we want them to graze without time consuming fencing. We put the electronet fencing up to keep the humans out. 😊

They will be here for another week or so.

Today we started a new grazing opportunity at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. We are working behind the garden now on some phragmites, willow, box elder and buckthorn.

We plan on moving the goats into the garden by the pond next week.

We are utilizing the amazing NoFence collars. We use electronet fencing mainly to keep the people away from the goats. The goats are very friendly and can be approachable.

We are excited for the opportunity and encourage anyone who is interested in grazing to contact us. It’s very easy to use, effective and fun.

The goats have a new area to beautify along the Fox River directly in back of the Bike Hub. We utilize electronet fencing to create a small paddock where the goats safely reside at night. In the morning we will open the gate and allow the goats to graze on undesirable invasives using NoFence technology. This allows the us to target graze sensitive areas without installing an actual fence.

These Doelings are removing invasives and other non-desirable vegetation along the tributary that runs to the East River. There is so much debris in our waterways that cause dams and flooding. In addition, the stream banks erode due to the natural vegetation being displaced.

We utilize NoFence collars to keep them in the target areas. It is an amazing technology that can be used on goats, sheep and beef cattle. This allows the animal the opportunity to graze on what they want and remove the undesirables. Let me know if you would like more info on these well made, highly effective collars.
