Today’s senior spotlight is Braylen Kerscher! He plays in our Marching Band, Concert band, and our Jazz two ensemble as well as running the West De Pere Drum-line!

Hello, my name is Braylen Kerscher. I have been in the West De Pere band program for the last eight years. I am in marching, jazz and concert band as well as the drumline leader. I am also one of the head drum majors this year. I have played percussion through my whole career in band and I plan on pursuing music education at UWSP this fall. My favorite part of band has been the rewarding feeling after a performance. Outside of band, I like to fish, hang out with friends, and go out to eat.

Today’s senior spotlight is Luke Dolan! He plays in our Marching Band, Concert band, and our Jazz one ensemble!

Hey! My name is Luke Dolan, and I’m a percussionist, pianist, and vocalist. Despite being involved in our jazz and concert bands, my favorite music genres to listen to are J-pop and Rock. Outside of school I’ve played in the Lawrence Wind Ensemble, participated in Solo and Ensemble, attended local jazz jam sessions, and performed gigs with my jazz trio. In the fall, I’ll be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue music and business. I’m extremely grateful for my time in the West De Pere band program, and I’m looking forward to college!

Hi! My name is Anne, and I play the flute. I’ve been in band since fifth grade.
Outside of band, I play piano and guitar. Next year I plan to attend St Norbert College for Elementary Education!

Today’s senior spotlight is Brady Trombley! He plays in our Concert band, our marching band, and our jazz band!

Hello, my name is Brady Trombley and I’ve been in band for 8 years. I am in marching, concert, and jazz band. I started on trumpet in 5th grade and from there have picked up euphonium and valve trombone in school, as well as guitar, banjo, and bass on my own. Outside of making music I love to skate, fish, thrift, and hang out with my friends. My favorite part of band is definitely the pep band games and jazz festivals. After highschool I am going to northcentral technical college and will continue to make music in my free time.

This weeks senior spotlight is Katelyn Sinclair! She plays in our Concert band, our marching band, and the West De Pere Drumline!

Hi! I’m Katelyn and I’m a senior in percussion. I’ve been in the band’s percussion section for two years, but in total have played percussion for about five years. I play cymbals in the drumline and I also sing in the choir. After high school, I’m going into the Marine Corps and will not be perusing music as far as I’m aware. In my free time, I work out, play guitar, sing, and doomscroll on my phone.

This weeks senior spotlight is Lucy Kraft! She plays in our Concert band and our Jazz 1 ensemble.

I was in both the jazz band and concert band for all of my high school years. I have played the trumpet for eight years and the horn for six. Next year, I’m studying nursing at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. One of my most favorite memories is playing for the football team at state this past year. I’m so grateful to have been in the band at West De Pere and I’m excited to see where life takes me next!
