This uniform belong to Robert S. Johnson, who was born in 1928 and passed away in 2021. His parents were Rolf and Mary Johnson.
Robert grew up in DeForest and graduated from high school in 1948. He was the quarterback for the high school football team, and also was on the basketball team. He participated in the senior play and was in the boys choir.
Robert spent many years in the Boy Scouts, eventually becoming an Eagle Scout and making his family very proud of that accomplishments.
In the 1940, when Robert was in Boy Scouts and high school, his family owned the Johnson Funeral Home in DeForest.
Robert married his wife Maxine in 1948 and they had two children, Lynn and Craig.
Lynn recently donated her dad's uniform to our Historical Society.
Note: Boy Scout Troop is still an active troop in DeForest!
