We responded mutual aid to our brothers at Dayville Fire Company with a crew of 4. I395 south bound will be down to one lane between the exit 41 south off-ramp and on-ramp, and potentially closed at some point so can make repairs and clean up. Expect delays on the northbound side as well at some point for the truck to be removed. Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) are on scene mitigating the diesel spill as well.

PSA-

When there are fire apparatus are blocking roads, they are blocking for a reason. Do not attempt to go around them because you are placing the firefighters and those they are protecting in danger. Multiple people blew by fire apparatus tonight while blocking for a serious motor vehicle accident on Interstate-395 and headed directly at the scene placing many public safety personnel at risk. Remember the big trucks with the flashing lights in the road mean it is blocked. Go to the side, as directed, out of the way, and follow directions when they are given for everyone's safety.

Tomorrow night is the last night to drop off gifts at our station for Santa to give to your kids at our breakfast with the big guy in red! We’ll be there from 6:30pm-8:30pm

This Saturday will be the only day that Santa is in Attawaugan. We won’t be doing our Santa run this year.

You don’t have to come to breakfast to see the jolley man! Sitting on Santa’s lap will never cost a dime!
