The Healthy Start Coalition of Flagler and Volusia Counties is a non-profit organization striving to unite people and resources at the local level in order to meet needs of pregnant women, infants, young children and their families. The Healthy Start Coalition oversees the following programs within our community: Healthy Start, Healthy Families, MomCare, and Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR).

In observance of Juneteenth, our office will be closed on Friday, June 19. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and is a time to reflect on freedom, equality, and progress.

Designate a responsible "Water Watcher" whenever children are near water.
Stay within arm's reach of infants and toddlers.
Put phones away and avoid distractions.
Consider swim lessons for children when age appropriate.

Children 18 and under can receive free breakfast and lunch at nearly 60 locations across Volusia County through a federally funded summer meals program running from June 1 through Aug. 7. There are no income restrictions, and parents do not need to apply or register their children to receive meals.
Meals will be served Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated. All sites will be closed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

🥗 Volusia County is offering free summer meals for kids!

Children 18 and under can receive free breakfast and lunch at nearly 60 locations across Volusia County through a federally funded summer meals program running from June 1 through Aug. 7. There are no income restrictions, and parents do not need to apply or register their children to receive meals.

Meals will be served Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated. All sites will be closed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day.
