Together these road segments, the In-Town Loop, Riverside Loop and Oceanside Loop, embrace the people, places, stories and events key to the success of this designation and supportive of the “American Tapestry” moniker.

The Campbell Hotel is the Landmark city-owned Green Book listed hotel from Midway Second Ave (now Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd) is set for demolition unless rehab plans are submitted by December 2025.
This is where black celebrities, athletes and businessmen stayed during Jim Crow era. It housed the famous Stardust Lounge where famous touring black musicians on tour played for the Daytona Beach community.

The Daytona Beach building, with deep roots in the community, has sparked conversation about preservation and potential redevelopment.

For the first time ever, Wildlife Festival at the Marine Science Center will welcome vendors alongside our beloved educational booths. Vendor applications are now open for Saturday, November 1 in Ponce Inlet.

With over 3,000 environmentally focused visitors in one day, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your sustainable wares and eco-friendly merchandise while supporting a great cause.

Only 10 vendor spaces are available. The $100 vendor donation secures your booth space and directly benefits the Friends of the Marine Science Center. Applications close September 29, so apply early!

Join the School Fishing Program to support your students on their fishing journey!

This program was developed to encourage students be effective, conservation minded anglers by teaching them about ethical angling, Florida's aquatic habitats, basic fishing gear, and general fishing concepts to help create confident and responsible anglers.

Don’t know how to start your school fishing club? Complete the participation request to receive the instructor’s manual, packed full of resources, activities, and curriculum, everything you need to teach your students! The first 50 schools to complete the form will receive a set of printed educational material including fresh and saltwater fishing regulations and other fishing publications. The request form will open Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00 AM EST.

Participating schools can also join the Fishing & Conservation Challenge for a chance to win awesome prizes! The FWC Fishing & Conservation Challenge is a friendly competition among Florida’s student anglers participating in their school’s fishing club or team, in a pre-determined list of fishing and aquatic conservation centered activities.

If you want to participate in the program but do not need the educational material, please still complete the request form to let us know you will have an active fishing club/team this year.
