Children can learn about 3D printing, coding and more at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Daytona Beach Public Library (105 Jackie Robinson Parkway). The event, titled "Imagine & Explore," is free and no registration is required.

Volusia County Public Library’s Daytona Beach Regional Library will host IMAGINE & EXPLORE: Tech Lab Families on Wednesday, September 16, at 3:30 p.m. Children of all ages and their caregivers will explore Ozobots®, Botley®, 3D Printers, and more through hands-on activities, guided challenges, experimentation, building, creating, and play. Activities will be hosted in the library’s LaunchPad. No registration required.

Join certified group fitness instructor Dianna Fornaro for Pilates from 11:15 a.m. to noon every Wednesday at Schnebly Recreation Center, 1101 N. Atlantic Ave.

With more than 15 years of experience teaching Pilates to adults and seniors, Fornaro helps participants learn the basics while building strength, improving movement and gaining confidence.

Classes are $10 per person. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Participants should bring a yoga mat and water bottle and wear comfortable clothing suitable for exercise.

While other city facilities may be closed for Labor Day, you can still make a splash at Cypress Aquatic Center! The pool, at 981 George W. Engram Blvd., will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7.

Cool off in the zero-depth entry area, take a ride down the curving water slide or enjoy one of six swimming lanes and waterplay features. Certified lifeguards are on duty.

Daily admission is $3 for adults and $2 for youth ages 17 and younger. A photo ID is required for pool access.

Cypress Aquatic Center also will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, and closed Sunday.
