Connecting education, business, and opportunity was at the heart of yesterday's Eggs & Issues Membership Meeting.

Business, education, and community leaders gathered to explore the critical role of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and workforce development in building a strong talent pipeline for the Daytona Beach region. As industries prepare for a wave of retirements and evolving workforce needs, the conversation focused on creating meaningful connections between education and industry to prepare the next generation for high-demand, high-wage careers.

A special thank you to our expert panelists, Dr. Kristin Pierce of Volusia County Schools, Bree Castelli of Daytona State College, and Matt Wittwer of Carter Electric, for sharing valuable insights, success stories, and opportunities for businesses to engage with local students through work-based learning and workforce development programs.

Ambassador Chair Rob Loy led an engaging team-building exercise that reminded us of an important truth: no one person has all the answers, but together, we have an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources.

As Ambassadors, each of us brings unique strengths, perspectives, and connections that help support our Chamber members and local business community. The exercise reinforced that our role isn't to know everything. It's to build relationships, listen, connect, and help guide members to the people and resources that can help them succeed.
