The Spring Reading Challenge, sponsored by Daytona Lagoon, is almost here!

Dr. Carmen Balgobin, Superintendent Volusia County Schools, invites all VCS students to join our Spring Reading Challenge, which begins Sunday and runs through March 31.

✨ Earn rewards for your reading:
500-699 minutes: $20 Daytona Lagoon arcade pass
700+ minutes: Daytona Lagoon waterpark pass for two (Student must be accompanied by parent or adult guardian)

Today Meet the Author at the Park! Rekia Beverly, creator of Mrs. Ashbury’s World will be at the Story Trail in Sunrise park from 4-5:30pm. There will be a scavenger hunt, free books and Kona Ice will be there too! Come enjoy the park and the beautiful community literacy trail. Hope to see everyone there!
