The Atlantic Federated Republican Women and the Heart of Florida Federated Women celebrated America’s 250th birthday yesterday at the Palmetto Club! 👠♥️✨

Over 90 members and guests joined us for an evening filled with patriotism, fellowship, and fun. The celebration featured a delicious BBQ dinner, dancing, lawn games, a presentation by the Color Guard, birthday cake, homemade pies, and even a special appearances by Betsy Ross & Uncle Sam.

As we begin the journey toward America’s 250th anniversary, it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and vision of those who founded our nation while celebrating the freedoms we enjoy today.

Atlantic Federated Republican Women met for their monthly general meeting on Thursday, May 28, where we hosted a Volusia County mayoral forum. Candidates for Mayor in Edgewater and Ormond Beach joined us for lunch and answered questions submitted by our members.

The AFRWC commemorated a significant achievement with a triumphant tea fundraiser on Monday, May 4. Our host, a friend of AFRW, opened her lovely home to us for the afternoon. Her hospitality fostered a sense of camaraderie and propelled momentum for the election year ahead. We extend our gratitude our host and to member Becky & David for preparing the most delicious tea, sandwiches, sweets and scones! 🫖 🌺 🥧

At the April General Meeting of the Atlantic Federated Republican Women, members gathered for an engaging and informative afternoon of fellowship and discussion. The meeting featured guest speaker Alex Newman, who delivered a thought-provoking presentation on digital IDs.

Alex Newman provided insight into what digital identification systems are, how they are being developed, and the potential implications for privacy and personal freedom. His presentation sparked meaningful conversation among attendees and encouraged members to stay informed on this evolving topic.

Our February general business meeting was held Feb 26 where historian Debbie Keith referenced Presidents Day and Black History month! FaustinaTrump from Venezuela was our Keynote speaker!

Our AFRWC January meeting occurred January 22nd at the Palmetto Club at noon where Four Republicans spoke. They were Nancy Miller, Mike Poniotowski, Danny Robins, and Dave Santiago.

Our Annual Christmas Party at the Palmetto Club was a wonderful evening. The room was beautifully decorated, and guests enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring prime rib, salmon, or baked chicken.

🎅🏻 We donated Items for the Alan Madden Foundaion as well as toys and games for local children through the Daytona Beach Fire Department—and Santa even stopped by to pick them up! It was a joyful night spent with members, guests, elected officials and several candidates for 2026 races.

🎁 Our friends Tracy & Stacy at Masterpiece Jewelers gave $100 gift certificates to guests (to help with last minute shopping) as well as a beautiful sterling and larimar set for the silent auction! Thank you to every one who donated and bid on the items!
