Over the summer, we'll be sharing some of the most asked questions we get here in the library and their answers!

Starting off this series strong with our first question: how many total items can I check out from the library at a time?

The answer is you can check out 5 items on a topic and can have a total of 20 items on loan at any one time!

Congratulations to our graduating Falcons of 2026! To our new and continuing students, have a great summer break! We'll see you in the Fall semester, but don't forget to come visit the library over the summer for all your leisure reading and watching needs.

The library will be observing the hours posted for this Summer. For the week of May 11th to the 15th, the library will be open Monday through Thursday, 7:30AM to 5:00PM, Friday 7:30AM to 12:00PM, and closed Saturday and Sunday. The hours posted will go in effect May 18th and will be observed until the Fall semester starts. Have a great summer, Falcons!

Upcoming event on May the 4th! We will be outside of building 115 at Echo Plaza with the library Book Bike. Come see the librarians dressed up in Star Wars gear, check out a sci-fi book from the Book Bike, and get a free Star Wars sticker! Plus, the Mandalorian will be there for photo opportunities! May the Fourth be with you!

Come check out a blind date at the library! There's both movies and books, and each item has a little description to tell you what it's about! Find something new you love, and if you don't enjoy what you get, return it to the library and try again!

Daytona State College will be closed March 16-20 for Spring Break and will reopen Monday, March 23 at 8 a.m. There is still time to register for an Open House at a campus near you.
