GAL 7th Circuit The Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Program is a partnership of community advocates and professional staff w Johns counties).

The Florida Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Program is a partnership of community advocates and professional staff providing a powerful voice on behalf of Florida's abused, abandoned and neglected children. Approximately 1,030 children are appointed to the GAL Program by judges in the 7th Judicial Circuit (Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. In Volusia county alone, currently 650 children are assigned to the

GAL Program. Of these 512 children are assigned to volunteers (78.7%). We need volunteers for over 100 children in order to better represent their best interests in court.
