A proud Seabreeze High School graduate, Sean began his career with VCS as a student worker and has since advanced to his current role as a utility technician, supporting our locksmith team. His professionalism under pressure and commitment to keeping our schools safe make him a true example of what it means to be VCS Strong! 💪

Today we celebrate our awesome Maintenance and Operations team. We're deeply grateful for the incredible work they do every day to keep our school district running smoothly. Their dedication, hard work, and attention to detail ensure that our schools are safe, clean, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors alike. They are essential to the success of our educational community. From early mornings to late nights, they are there to fix, clean, and maintain everything we rely on.

At the School Board meeting today, we had the chance to celebrate our entire VCS family and stakeholders! Volusia County Schools has been honored with the 2025 Resilience Award by District Administration, a leading resource for K-12 district leadership. This national recognition celebrates our district’s leadership in hurricane preparedness, student safety, and educational continuity.
Thanks to each of you who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and success of our 60,000 students.
