In February, the AVHC and the entire Dayton community lost a very dear Friend, Comrade, Servant, and Leader with the passing of Robert "Bob" Kincses.

Bob was a true 'Servant Leader', and actively contriibuted his knowledge, skills, and experience to many local Dayton organizations.

To honor our beloved Bob, please join us on April 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dayton National Cemetery Protestant Chapel for his memorial service.

Godspeed Bob!

Join us in honoring our Veterans for the holidays. On December 13, 2025 at 12 noon, volunteers will place wreaths on the graves of Veterans including those at our Dayton VA Cemetery. The wreaths are provided by Wreaths Across America donors.

They cannot do this without the help of donations from our supporting American Public.

Help us to honor those who sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms! Use the QR code in the poster to sponsor a wreath or volunteer at the Dayton VA Cemetery. A small amount of the proceeds of sponsorship will go to the AVHC.

Wreath Retirement day is Saturday, January 18th, 10am at the Dayton National Cemetery.
All wreaths will be respectfully retreived from the gravesites and repurposed. All are welcome!
