I’m grateful today for the last chance to talk to voters as they head into the polls, and especially grateful for this utterly gorgeous weather while I do it. So much better than 35 degrees and rain!

Tomorrow is ELECTION DAY and you’ve got some important choices to make, Dayton!

I am so grateful for the chance I’ve had to serve you on the Dayton School Board and I hope to continue that work. Our district has made real gains with test scores and student achievement, I’ve fought for you in the statehouse and in Washington D.C. and I’ve been recognized by my colleagues and across the state for my excellence in board service. I am recommended by the Dayton Education Association (thank you teachers!), AFSCME, the Matriots, and I am a Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate of Distinction.

I am also supporting Shenise Turner-Sloss for mayor and Darryl Fairchild and Jacob Davis for city commission.

Don’t forget to cast your ballot!

How lucky am I that my college freshman son just surprised me by unexpectedly coming home for the weekend AND that he just voted for the first time by mail?!?

It’s so cool to see my kids get excited to vote and informed and engaged in the political process. I’m one lucky mom :)

Once again I am honored to be endorsed by the Matriots, a phenomenal organization dedicated to supporting women running for office all over Ohio, up and down the ballot. It’s a powerful community of women who get stuff done every day, and to know I’m part of that community keeps me motivated and energized.

You cannot have a strong fully funded public education system that serves every single child and teaches them to be curious and think critically about their world without a strong democracy. This is why I marched today with my community in Dayton.

And thank you to who always makes sure I get at least one picture! (don’t tell my campaign manager I neglected those duties again)
