A New Declaration of Independence from Tyranny: Effective July 4, 2025
When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for a people to break from a leader who governs with cruelty, contempt, and corruption, a decent respect to the opinions of humankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all people are created equal, endowed with inherent dignity and unalienable rights—among these are life, liberty, equality, and the pursuit of justice.
That to secure these rights, governments derive their power from the consent of the governed. When a leader becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right and duty of the people to refuse allegiance and to stand united in the defense of their freedoms.
The current holder of high office has shown himself to be unfit to lead a free and just society.
* He disrespects women, mocking survivors of violence and stripping away their rights.
* He fuels racism and white supremacy, scapegoating communities of color and denying their equality.
* He assaults free speech, attacking the press, punishing dissent, and spreading disinformation.
* He exploits public office for private gain, enriching himself and the billionaire class while abandoning the poor and working people.
* He undermines justice, ignores the rule of law, and places himself above accountability.
* He disregards science, endangering lives in times of crisis and sacrificing the planet for profit.
* He fans division and incites violence to maintain power, wielding fear as a weapon against the people.
Time and again, we have protested peacefully, spoken truthfully, and appealed to our shared humanity. We have been met with indifference, hostility, and violence. A leader who governs through hatred and greed is unfit to govern at all.
Therefore, we, the people of conscience and conviction, do solemnly declare our independence from this tyrant and all he represents.
We withdraw our consent.
We refuse to be complicit in cruelty.
We reject the abuse of power for personal gain.
We stand for dignity, truth, equality, and justice for all people.
With firm reliance on each other and unwavering hope in our collective strength,
We pledge to resist oppression in all its forms,
To uphold the rights of the vulnerable,
And to build a future grounded in compassion, courage, and shared humanity.
Let this declaration be both a breaking and a beginning.

The DELTA Variant and other Comments on Covid-19

The data below can be found on a Dr. John Campbell report in YouTube, https://virological.org/t/viral-infection-and-transmission-in-a-large-well-traced-outbreak-caused-by-the-delta-sars-cov-2-variant/724, and a publication in Nature (www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021+01986-w; I haven’t checked the Nature site yet).
The Delta Variant has been found to be 1260 times as infectious as the previous Alpha (British), and Beta versions. Too, it incubates faster after initial infection from 5-8 days for the previous versions to 3-5 days. The tests for these were done by PRC finding a viral load of 1000x earlier versions. While not peer reviewed yet the virologists on virological.org seemed accepting of the Chinese research (re: Campbell above). The Ct value (a point of measurable viral load?) was 34.31 ( # of replications of virus to show up on PRC tests) for the A and B versions, to 24.00 for the Delta (fewer means the virus is more effective at replicating also noted in the day to noticeable infection above).
In other commentary (Shane Crotty, PhD, on MedCram.com or YouTube, virologist), sees the following (hour long talk): those previously infected with Covid do have good protection from a new infection somewhat lower than the vaccines, however if they are given a vaccine their protection jumps higher. He also sees the vaccines as providing protection for 6 months to a year (he notes we “do not know” how efficacious they will be into the future yet). He thinks (best guess) that the virus might not be strong much after a year or two from now, and might not need continuous protection (a la the flu viruses). He did note that those over 65 may lose vaccine protection faster than those under. However, this is an educated guess (by a noted virologist). Personally, don’t hope too quickly. He is in favor of continuing mask wearing, especially indoors in groups.
An analysis of the Israel evidence that the vaccines are wearing down after 5-8 months v. the British experience that they seem to stay strong for 8 months (i.e. Israeli study says going down from 90%ish to 41%ish after a time), may be due to the protocol for giving injections: the Israelis gave the second injection of the Pfizer 3 weeks after the first; the British gave it 8-12 weeks after. This may not bode well for the U.S. A booster may be needed within 8-12 months. This was noted on a John Campbell YouTube commentary. Currently the CDC and FDA are hesitant to allow boosters (report on Doctor Radio, SXM 110). The two doctors in this discussion, one a noted epidemiologist, think boosters should be given. I am over 65 and all for boosters after a year or less.
