Thank you to all who voted for me in the General Election. I recognize that many people do not bother voting for those who are unopposed, but we are your elected officials either way. I have been honored to serve as a Judge these past few months, and look forward to fulfilling my full term, commencing January 2nd!

I am doing a quick shout out and request for prayers.

I want to thank all of the staff, attorneys, law enforcement, agency workers and other partners who work in FAMILY LAW-whether you work in Domestic Relations, Juvenile and/or Probate Court-you are a BLESSING!!

Some folks don’t understand the sacrifices you make daily. Others don’t realize your importance until they need you. I see it. I’m thankful to be working with you. And that’s why I started this post asking for prayers. Please keep fighting the good fight. We ALL need you!

Spent last Sunday and Monday evening walking Huber and Kettering neighborhoods, encouraging people to vote! Please research all the candidates and don’t forget to vote on the entire ticket. Local elected officials directly impact our community every single day.

We held our 2024 Employee Recognition today. Judge Wood and I are so proud of the team of public servants we work beside daily! They are a phenomenal group of women and men who not only care about the work they do, they care about the people who come to the court and each other. So thankful for all of you!

Yesterday was the ARTEMIS CENTER Annual Breakfast. As you know October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It always amazes me how many people we walk beside every day that we later learn have a story involving Domestic Violence.

At the Court, we are thankful for our staff and Magistrates who assist on Domestic Violence case every single day. Thanks also to our partners in the community, including advocates and attorneys, who show up daily for those taking steps away from violence and towards healthier relationships.

Thank you Crestview Baptist Church for hosting an evening discussion about the upcoming election. I appreciated being able to share for a few minutes, about my calling to this role, serving the people of Montgomery County in our Domestic Relations Court. It is always encouraging to see such a large crowd engaged in learning more about those running for office, and being active in the process.

Big shout out to Meadowdale CTC, especially the Juniors and Seniors who invited us to answer questions for their Voter’s Guide. We are in early voting in Ohio. I was so encouraged to see the turn-out today in Montgomery County, as I worked in the garage, handing out slate cards to those who came to our table. Thanks to all those who are working the polls and to all who have already cast your vote for me!

THANK YOU HUBER HEIGHTS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE! We had a great Meet the Candidates night, earlier this evening.

I appreciate the opportunity to participate beside my Common Pleas Court colleague Judge Elizabeth A. Ellis, and so many other passionate people running for local office.

Even though I am fortunate to be running unopposed, I recognize my responsibility of earning the public trust, and being active in community events and education. We all appreciated those who joined us in person and on Facebook Live, and asked such insightful questions.
