🌼 National Garden Week Proclaimed in Rhea County and the City of Dayton 🌼

Mayor Hurley Marsh and County Executive Jim Vincent recently joined in recognizing the importance of gardening by signing a proclamation designating June 7–13 as National Garden Week.

The proclamation highlights the many benefits of gardening, including beautifying our communities, promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting pollinators and wildlife, encouraging environmental stewardship, and preserving the spirit of hard work and innovation that has long been a part of our nation's heritage.

Thank you to Mayor Marsh, County Executive Vincent, and our local garden club members for helping promote the value of gardening and conservation throughout Rhea County.
