Dayton Pike was milled yesterday, and Eaton Asphalt is laying asphalt today so traffic on this road will be limited one lane of travel during construction with flag persons directing traffic around the work.

Crews will repave those areas of Dayton Pike where the Northern Kentucky Water District replaced water mains last year. The remainder of roadway will be repaved after the new sidewalks, curbs, and stormwater inlets are constructed south of Chateau Drive and other stormwater infrastructure is constructed north of Chateau Drive.

The current repaving project is expected to be completed by this afternoon. The other construction work will start after the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet approves design plans that the city has submitted to the agency and the city solicits bids for construction.
