On May 30, the City of Dayton Fire Department conducted a Physical Agility Test Course (PAT) for current firefighters and potential new hires. This timed event is designed to evaluate the physical demands of the job, with each station simulating real-world fireground activities that firefighters may encounter in the line of duty.
The PAT helps ensure that personnel are prepared to safely and effectively perform the critical tasks required to protect lives and property. We appreciate the dedication and hard work of everyone who participated and continue to support the high standards of our Fire Department. 🚒💪
