With the arrival of warmer weather, we encourage everyone to take advantage of our local parks, enjoy family walks, and spend time outdoors.

As you do so, please remember to use our parks responsibly. If you observe any suspicious activity, contact the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Emergency Communications Center at 540-434-4436 to request a Dayton Police Officer.

Your cooperation helps ensure our parks remain safe and enjoyable for all members of the community.

🚧 Road Work Ahead 🚧
🚧 Milling & Paving in Progress 🚧

Over the next 2 weeks crews will be working hard to improve our roads! Milling and paving operations are underway to create a smoother, safer driving surface for everyone. During this process, you may notice lane closures, uneven pavement, and construction crews in the area.

⚠️ Please slow down, stay alert, and follow all posted signs and flaggers.
🚗 Give workers plenty of space—they’re out there to make your commute better!

We appreciate your patience as we make these important improvements. The short-term inconvenience will lead to long-term benefits for our community!
