County Corp lost a long time friend, contractor, and valued member of the team providing affordable housing in the Dayton area last weekend.

Rick worked with us as a contractor for nearly 20 years, helped County Corp improve the lives of our community’s residents by performing home repairs, aiding in tenant repairs/requests, landscaping, and so much more. Rick was a master of all trades. He will be sorely missed in Dayton and here at County Corp.

We want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the ribbon cutting and open house at the newly renovated CJ McLin Apartments. These apartments had once fallen into despair have been given new life.

The CJ McLin Senior Apartments is a multi-unit senior community with 100% project-based HUD Section 8 Vouchers. Named in honor of local community leader, businessman and advocate for development in west Dayton, Clarence Josef McLin, Sr. and originally built in 1986, this 3-story community has 46 efficiency and one (1) bedrooms apartments.

County Corp's Pathways to Homeownership was recently highlighted in The Dayton Foundation Connections, which provides information of initiatives and programs in the area.

The Pathways to Homeownership has been driving force to bring now construction, owner-occupied, single family homes to the area. The program invests in underserved neighborhoods and brings life back into Dayton.

PS: the photo used was taken by our very own Housing Program Manager, Casey Laughter.
