Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park Come to Dayton and learn about the invention of the airplane. Experience the community that produce The park operates two visitor centers, one at 16 S.

Williams St. in the neighborhood where the Wright Brothers lived and worked; and a second center at the Wright Memorial overlooking Huffman Prairie where the Wright Brothers perfected the airplane and later operated a flying school. Visits to other units of the park at Carillon Park, the Paul Laurence Dunbar Home, and Hawthorn Hill can be arranged through our partner Dayton History.
