Dayton National Cemetery Honor Squad The volunteer Dayton National Cemetery Honor Squad was created In 2015 to assure each veteran interred receives full military honors.

Donations are accepted through the Dayton National Cemetery Support Committee, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. The Dayton National Cemetery Honor Squad was founded to assist military honor guards and provide the traditional Rifle Salute at each service and Taps and Flag folding and presentation in the absence of military personnel. Previously, 90% of veteran interments did not receive the Rifle Salute.
