The Minority Business Assistance Center - Dayton Region (MBAC), in partnership with the Dayton Human Relations Council (HRC), hosted session III of The Procurement Access Series.

This final session focused on helping small business owners develop effective capability statements to strengthen their positioning for procurement opportunities.

Attendees gained valuable insight into how to professionally present their business, communicate their unique differentiators and strengthen their positioning for contracts and partnership opportunities.

The event also featured a panel discussion with procurement professionals who shared industry insights and best practices for building successful business relationships.

The Minority Business Assistance Center - Dayton Region (MBAC) recently hosted a 2-Day Certification Boot Camp.

This hands-on training was designed to help small business owners successfully navigate the certification process.

Attendees reviewed certification criteria for the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE), Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise (VFBE) programs.

They also completed a detailed document checklist, received guidance on financial readiness, and began their applications through the appropriate portal.
