Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got Cadet Matthew Hurrle. Cadet Hurrle is graduating with a degree in Education and will be commissioning as a Reserve Logistics Officer. Next stop will be the Army Logistics University at Fort Lee, VA for Logistics Basic Officer Leader Course.

The U.S. Army Logistics Branch is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the sustainment of Army forces, ensuring that they are equipped, supplied, and maintained for operations both in peacetime and during wartime. It encompasses various functions like supply, maintenance, transportation, and field services, all working together to provide the necessary support for mission accomplishment. Congratulations and good luck.

Today, the spotlight falls on Cadet Ryan Fitzgerald. Graduating with a degree in Business Management, Cadet Fitzgerald will commission as an Active Duty Officer in what many would argue is the Army’s finest branch: the Infantry. His next stop is Fort Benning, Georgia where he will attend Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course.

The Infantry branch is the Army’s primary ground combat force and the core of close-combat operations. Infantry officers lead soldiers who close with and destroy the enemy, seize and hold key terrain, and dominate in all environments. They plan, synchronize, and execute missions across the full range of military operations. As tactical masters, Infantry leaders train their units to operate and succeed under the most demanding conditions. Congratulations and good luck!

Continuing our countdown to commissioning, we’re proud to introduce Cadet Kaitlyn Mull. Cadet Mull, always the overachiever, is graduating from the Bachelor’s plus Master’s program with dual degrees in Accounting. She will be commissioning as a National Guard Finance Officer and will be attending Finance and Comptroller Basic Officer Leader Course at Ft. Jackson, SC.

The Finance Corps manages the Army’s financial operations to keep units ready and missions moving. Finance officers oversee purchasing, contracting support, pay operations, auditing and accounting functions that ensure soldiers and organizations receive timely financial support. They work with military and commercial banking systems, manage vendor payments and operate financial-management systems that enable commanders to resource and sustain operations around the world. Congratulations and good luck!

Next up for the class of 2026 we have Cadet Mason Witte. Cadet Witte is graduating with a degree in Accounting and will be commissioning as an Active Duty Armor Officer. After graduation, he will be headed to Cadet Summer Training at Fort Knox where he will be a 2LT mentor/trainer for the Tactics portion of CST. Following that, he will head to Fort Benning for Armor Basic Officer Leader Course.

The Armor branch provides the Army’s fast, powerful ground combat force. Armor officers lead tank and scout units that bring speed, firepower and protection to the fight. They find and defeat enemy forces, protect friendly troops and support infantry and other units. Armor officers are experts in combined-arms operations and lead from the front in demanding combat environments to help U.S. forces move, fight and win. Congratulations Mason, ON THE WAY!

Today, we’re kicking off graduation week. Our first highlight is Cadet Heddie Heintzelman. Cadet Heintzelman is graduating with a degree in Political Science and will be commissioning as an Active Duty Military Police Officer. Her next stop will be Fort Lenonardwood, Missouri for Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC) because who doesn’t love some more schooling?

The Military Police Corps protects the force by enforcing law and order, securing Army installations and supporting missions at home and overseas. Military Police officers prevent crime, conduct investigations and ensure the safety and discipline of soldiers and families on post. When deployed, they provide route and area security, manage detainees, support customs missions and strengthen force protection, helping maintain stability and uphold the rule of law. Congratulations and good luck!

This past weekend, the Fight Flyer Battalion Ranger Challenge team showed up and showed out at the 2026 Bold Warrior Challenge at Fort Knox. They finished 4th overall out of 36 teams proving that they have the grit and toughness to perform at a high level, great way to set the standard.
