What a Great Night at Bluegrass & Brew! 🎶🍻🇺🇸

Wow, what a great turnout tonight! Even though the rain held us down for a little while, Fairborn came together, and in the end, it turned into a great evening.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, approached us, talked with us, and signed the recall petition. I truly appreciate every person who took the time to get involved and make their voice heard.

I also want to give a BIG shout-out to Chris, Kara, and everyone with Parks and Recreation. They do a phenomenal job putting events like Bluegrass & Brew together for our community.

One thing citizens don’t always get to see is what happens behind the scenes. At closing time, everyone went right to work shutting everything down and cleaning up. That hard work often goes unnoticed, but it doesn’t go unappreciated. Thank you to the entire Parks and Recreation team for everything you do for Fairborn!

I was also pleasantly surprised and grateful to see City Manager Mike Gephart and Mayor Dan Kirkpatrick at the event tonight. It’s always good to see our city leaders out in the community.

And to everyone who came out tonight — thank you! Rain or shine, when Fairborn comes together, great things can happen.

FAIRBORN — I’LL SEE YOU AT BLUEGRASS & BREW TONIGHT! 🇺🇸

Bluegrass & Brew festivities begin at 4:00 PM downtown, and I’ll be there with the paperwork for the recall petition concerning Councilwoman Sylvia Chess.

I will not have a booth. I’ll be walking around downtown, so if you’re there and you’re a registered Fairborn voter who has not yet signed, please come up and talk to me. I’ll be happy to explain the petition, the process, and why I believe this is important for our community.

I want to make one thing very clear: This is not a political move for my 2027 campaign. I am doing this as a citizen of Fairborn who cares about the community I have called home for 14 years.

I believe the statements made about Fairborn were serious, damaging, and should be held accountable. I have also raised questions about the allegations made, and I have not been able to find police reports or supporting documentation that substantiate those allegations.

This is bigger than one person or one political party. It is about accountability.

This recall effort is about making sure Fairborn citizens have a voice and that elected officials understand that they are ultimately accountable to the people they represent.

If you’re downtown tonight, come say hello. If you have questions, ask me. If you haven’t signed and want to understand the process, I’ll explain it.

Good morning, Fairborn,

I want everyone to know that I am still out here gathering signatures for the recall process of Sylvia Chess.

The past few weeks have brought extreme heat, and I’ll admit I slowed down—but I’m back out there because I believe this effort is bigger than one person. This is about the future of Fairborn, the voice of our residents, and making sure accountability and transparency matter in our community.

This is history in the making. For the first time ever in Fairborn’s history, citizens are using the recall process to make their voices heard.

I have been asked many times, “Why are you doing this?” The answer is simple: because if citizens don’t stand up and get involved, nothing changes.

I’m asking for your support—not just with a signature, but by having conversations with your neighbors and encouraging people to get involved. Our community belongs to all of us.

I started this journey because I believe in Fairborn, and I will continue until the job is done.

There are seasons in life when you don’t announce every move you’re making—you simply keep doing the work.

I’m focused on helping lead the recall effort and strengthening the recall process for the future. If successful, it would be a significant moment for our community. At the same time, I’m preparing for my campaign for Fairborn City Council in 2027.

I know not everyone following this page supports what I’m doing, and that’s okay. Public service comes with scrutiny. My focus isn’t on the critics—it’s on the citizens who believe in accountability, transparency, and doing what’s right for Fairborn.

Not every plan needs to be announced before it’s carried out. Some things are accomplished through hard work, perseverance, and faith—not publicity.

I’m going to keep showing up, keep listening, keep working, and let the results speak for themselves.

God didn’t call me to quit when the road gets difficult. He called me to stay faithful to the mission.

The work continues.

Just a quick update for everyone following the Recall Sylvia Chess effort.

Since the 3rd and 4th of July, we have continued gathering signatures. The summer heat, along with the poor air quality caused by the wildfire smoke, has definitely been a challenge, but we are still out there meeting with residents and collecting signatures every chance we can.

This weekend, we’ll be at the Mary Help of Christians Carnival gathering signatures. If you’re attending, please stop by, say hello, and sign the petition if you haven’t already. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Thank you to everyone who has signed, volunteered, and continues to support this effort. Your encouragement means a great deal, and we’ll keep working hard until the job is done.

History is being made in Fairborn.

This recall effort may have started with Sylvia Chess, but it is about something much greater than one person. It is about giving the citizens of Fairborn a voice that will last for generations.

If approved, this will establish a recall process that can be used in the future whenever the people believe an elected official should be held accountable. That’s not about politics—it’s about ensuring that the citizens always have a voice in their own government.

This is your city. Your government. Your voice.

Together, we have the opportunity to make Fairborn history by putting the power where it belongs—with the people.
