Our department is proud to host our upcoming Dayton Police 5K Fun Run/Walk. All proceeds will directly benefit the American Cancer Society and its vital mission to end cancer. Whether you're looking to set a personal best, take a relaxed walk with family and friends, or support a cause that impacts so many of our loved ones, every step makes a difference.
We are also very excited that one of our community partners, St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be providing a Mammogram Van where they can conduct on-site screenings for those who are interested. They are one of our gracious sponsors, along with Duke Energy and Kona Ice.
The event will take place at 1301 4th Avenue, Dayton, Kentucky, at Manhattan Harbour on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM, and the event will start at 9:00 AM. For the course, we will be utilizing the city's recently completed River Walk, traveling west to Queen City Riverboats, turning around, and proceeding east back to Queen City Riverboats. At the conclusion of the event, there will be a dine-and-donate event taking place Blue Catty's at Manhattan Harbour Marina!
All participants will be permitted to wear fun/family-friendly Halloween costumes if they wish.
